  7. This is a true client-server application which enables Open Desktop users to
  8. access a networked Faximum Server to compose, send, receive, view, and manage
  9. FAX communications. The server can FAX ASCII, TIFF, PCL-5, and PostScript
  10. documents and supports a wide selection of scalable fonts. Other distinguishing
  11. features include a full Motif interface to all functions, least-cost routing,
  12. intelligent dialing, automatic letterhead and for overlays, project cost
  13. accounting, and multiple lines. Received FAXes can be routed to individual
  14. users and viewed on X terminals or printed on most laser printers. Faximum
  15. client-server also supports heterogenous networks and is available for a number
  16. of UNIX systems.
